Are you a talented pastry chef with a passion for crafting delicious sweet treats and ready to take a bakery to the next level? Oliver Green is looking for a creative and independent pastry chef who can make delicious products like banana bread, chocolate chip cookies, and other wholesome sweet treats. You will also have the opportunity to help develop and grow our bakery. This role offers significant growth potential as we plan to expand production and sell our products to other businesses in addition to our own locations.

What you'll be doing

Crafting high-quality pastries and recipe development – Prepare a variety of premium products such as banana bread, cookies, and other sweet and savory items, with room for innovation and seasonal creations.
Expanding the bakery – Play a key role in scaling production for both internal and external sales.
Efficient inventory management – Manage ingredients, place orders, and ensure cost-effective production.
Independence & Growth – Start as an independent pastry chef and quickly grow into a leadership role within our fast-growing bakery.

What we are looking for

At least 1 year of experience as a pastry chef (culinary education is a plus).
Ability to work independently and take initiative – you’ll have a lot of freedom to develop the pastry department.
Strong organizational skills – you’ll manage production schedules and maintain efficiency.
Attention to detail – you ensure quality and presentation in every product.
Passion for high-quality, natural ingredients and wholesome pastries.

What we offer

A unique opportunity to develop and expand the pastry department at Oliver Green.
Flexible working hours (morning shifts, weekends optional).
Part-time start (3 days per week) with potential to grow into a full-time role.
Salary between €2500 – €3200 per month, depending on experience.
Performance-based bonuses and discounts on our healthy meals.
Work location: Amsterdam Oost (Veemarkt).
